The weather is certainly wetting the appetite to eat outdoors. We don’t know about you, but when the sun comes out we always want to dine outdoors. Here is the best of our locations to dine outdoors…

The Boathouse Café, FARMLEIGH

Not only is this our newest location, but it is certainly one of our most eye catching…
Situated beside Farmleigh House. On a lake, in Dublin’s famous Phoenix Park, well, there isn’t much else we can say. The Boathouse Café at Farmleigh offers a stunning, quiet and contemporary haven in the middle of Dublin City Centre’s hustle and bustle. It is a godsend for food and nature lovers as The Boathouse Café overlooks the Ornamental Lake at Farmleigh. And is surrounded by beautiful gardens and woodland. Brambles will offer nutritional and modern food to compliment the beautiful interior and exterior.

The Millpond, Dundrum Town Centre

Situated in one of Europe’s biggest shopping centers it is very easy to lose yourself in the busy malls of Dundrum Town Centre. Brambles at the Millpond set infront of the Millpond fountains is perfect on a sunny day! This is certainly the best way to get away from all the noise and relax while watching the world go by in our outdoor pier. Take the weight off your feet and enjoy a coffee and some delicious homemade food, maybe even spoil yourself with something sweet from our bakery. This cafe is a bit different to what we usually do as table service is offered.

Pearse Park, Rathfarnham

The Pearse Museum is dedicated to the memory of Patrick Pearse and his brother William. A stunning location in Dublin’s suburbs and a perfect location for a walk full of nature and stunning scenery. A delightful way to end a day in the air by sitting out at the courtyard fountain and taking advantage of the beautiful Irish sunshine. This truly is a perfect location for taking the family for a day in the park and finish off with a creamy 99 in the sun! Don’t forget the flake!

Rusborough House, Blessington

An iconic location for us, the stunning Russborough House is an incredible location to dine outdoors and take advantage of the superb Russborough Maze. This is the perfect location for families to come and see some Irish History and explore Russborough House, its gardens and its beautiful surroundings. This man made maze is surrounding the outside eating area and is truly a wonderful amusement for adults and children. There is also a fantastic playground to keep the little ones happy while you relax with a tall glass of our homemade lemonade and a slice of homemade dessert. A truly wonderful location.

Battle of The Boinne, Meath

A hidden gem located near the Newgrange monument. Only 45 minutes from Dublin, this is perfect for a family day out. This is the perfect area to dine outdoors. A gorgeous spacious location where parking is plentiful. With big fields, walks and outdoor seating to dine in. This is a perfect location to bring the whole family, including the family pet! Be sure to come and experience it for yourself.

National Museum of Ireland, Castlebar Mayo

A beautiful courtyard located in Mayo’s Castlebar. Part of the National Museum of Ireland this is a prime location to come and see stunning and boutique exhibitions which you will not find anywhere else. Discover Irish History as you’ve never seen before and enjoy the outdoor courtyard. The sun has even raised its head in the West of Ireland so get the shorts on and take the family out and take advantage of one of Ireland’s most beautiful locations.

So this week why not visit one of our stunning locations and take full advantage of the Irish Summer. The kids are off school and deserve a treat and you do too.
